Learn how to implement circularity principles into regional development

On this two-week course, you’ll learn how circularity principles can be integrated into regional development visions.

You’ll analyse existing governance approaches and discover how they can be used to implement circularity principles. You’ll also learn how to apply the transition awareness tool to aid the integration.

With this knowledge, you’ll be able to conclude which aspects of your region are most advanced, and which need the most attention.

Develop your skills in spatial planning

Delving further into transition awareness tools, you’ll discover their importance in circularity to help hone your skills as a spatial planner.

You’ll explore different sectors and parameters to gain a comprehensive understanding of circularity transitions, using the tool to help ease the transition.

Explore the benchmark tool for circularity transitions

Next, you’ll explore the cross-analyses of decision models and how to benchmark the route of a city and region along the transition from linear to circular.

You’ll also compare this to other regions to help you look for opportunities for knowledge transfer.

Learn from the experts at TU Delft

Throughout the course, you’ll be guided by the specialists at TU Delft. With their research and dedicated academic staff, you’ll finish the course with the tools and knowledge to implement and measure circularity transitions.

This course is designed for those working or studying the field of spatial planning or circularity and are interested in bridging the gap between them.

It will also be useful for professionals working in urban planning departments in either the public or private sector.
