Achieve success in your Welsh Baccalaureate Individual Project

Do you want to ace your Welsh Bacc Individual Project? This 2-week course by the University of Bath and Aberystwyth University will teach you everything you need to succeed.

The Welsh Bacc is valued by universities and employers for the combination of personal growth and academic skills it develops in learners.

Start the research process and understand the assessment

You’ll start by thinking about why you should do your Welsh Bacc and Individual Project well and look at how to start the research process, get a good mark and organise your ideas.

When you are clear about your motivation, you’ll look at the next stage on the map of your journey in completing your individual project: choosing a topic area that is associated with your future educational or career aspirations.

Learn the key to good planning and finding valuable sources

Good planning is essential both to save time and to ensure a good end product. Here we consider how to organise your ideas into a coherent plan and coherent paragraphs.

We’ll explore how to find and evaluate sources, and then cite and reference them properly. The course will finish with some advice on how to complete the project and some top tips for the Welsh Bacc.

This course would suit post-16 students wishing to successfully complete their Welsh Bacc ‘Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate’.

Certificate cost may vary. You will be redirected to the host page for cost and payment options.
