Identify how to deliver engaging training sessions to a range of learners with this CPD Accredited course from ATC Training.
This course is made available through the eLearnAfrica and FutureLearn partnership.
This five-week, professional development course will give you an in-depth insight into delivering engaging training sessions for both online and in the classroom to cater to a whole range of learning styles.
You’ll discover a range of assessment techniques to verify students’ understanding, and will ultimately identify your legal responsibilities as a trainer or tutor.
In a post COVID-19 world, students are increasingly needing to learn online. You’ll cover strategies on how best to teach both online and in the classroom, and will identify a range of different learning theories to help cover a range of different bases on how people learn.
You’ll also understand your responsibilities as a trainer, teacher or tutor, and will tackle the legislation that will need to be covered during any training session.
You’ll learn how to maximise learning within a session using a range of teaching strategies, the ultimate aim being to deliver a motivating presentation in a supportive learning environment.
You’ll also cover a range of summative and formative assessment methods - such as standardised tests, exams, model-eliciting activities and feedback - in order to assess and mark learners, and will decipher which ones to use when.
You’ll be guided through this 38 CDP Accredited course content by Andrew Cumiskey; an experienced trainer and manager in operational training and learning and development at ATC Training.
They also offer two other CPD accredited Train the Trainer courses (the certificate in training design and training evaluation) covering all aspects of the teaching cycle.
This course is best suited to existing and aspiring trainers, teachers or tutors who wish to gain knowledge and skills in the design, delivery, and assessment of training.
Certificate cost may vary. You will be redirected to the host page for cost and payment options.
