Alongside experienced chefs at the International Culinary Studio, you’ll learn everything you need to know about effective and safe knife cutting when cooking.

On this course, you’ll learn about different types of knives and how to select a knife that is suitable to your needs.


You’ll also learn about knife maintenance, getting professional tips for caring for, washing, sharpening and correctly storing your knives and cutting equipment.


Learn the best knife cutting techniques to prevent injury


Using a knife incorrectly can result in serious injury. You’ll learn various safe knife cutting techniques that will ensure you can prepare food safely and effectively.

  • Being unenrolled from a course, learning program or degree program; or

  • Termination of your use of the App and/or Site.

  • Additional actions may be taken at the sole discretion of eLearnAfrica and eLearnAfrica course providers. 

No refunds will be issued in the case of any corrective action for such violations.

Honor code violations will be determined at the sole discretion of eLearnAfrica, the Partners, or Members. You will be notified if a determination has been made that you have violated this honor code and you will be informed of the corresponding action to be taken as a result of the violation.
