Business models are key to long term business success and as an entrepreneur, it’s vital that you use yours to its full potential.


On this course, you’ll learn from the ground up what business models are, why you need one, and exactly how to create one.


You’ll be introduced to an array of different types of business models, as well as examples of tools that will help you build your business model.

After exploring the foundations of business models and how they’re used to make a business successful, you’ll be introduced to various tools and techniques you can use to create a business model.


You’ll be set practical tasks and have the chance to discuss with and learn from other learners on the course, sharing your business concepts and models with your fellow students.

Lead course educator, Wiebke Reim, is an Associate Senior Lecturer with a Doctoral degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Wiebke’s research is conducted in close collaboration with industry, and focuses on business models for product-service-systems, digitalisation and the circular economy.


This course is designed for anyone who wants to boost their business development skills and learn how to create a successful business model.


It will be particularly useful if you are about to start your own business, you’re struggling with your business model, or you need to reinvent your current business model.

VIOLATIONS

If you are found in violation of the Terms and Conditions or Honor Code, you may be subject to one or more of the following actions:

  • Receiving a zero or no credit for an assignment;

  • Having any certificate earned in the course withheld or revoked;

  • Being unenrolled from a course, learning program or degree program; or

  • Termination of your use of the App and/or Site.

  • Additional actions may be taken at the sole discretion of eLearnAfrica and eLearnAfrica course providers. 

No refunds will be issued in the case of any corrective action for such violations.

Honor code violations will be determined at the sole discretion of eLearnAfrica, the Partners, or Members. You will be notified if a determination has been made that you have violated this honor code and you will be informed of the corresponding action to be taken as a result of the violation.
