Despite a century of progress, women are still under-represented in leadership roles. Many women lack the confidence to accomplish their aspirations and strive for senior positions.
On this three-week course from Nottingham Business School, you’ll discover the vital contribution female leaders make to business and society. Understanding what has made other women successful as leaders will empower you to take the next step in your leadership career.
The course will start with an exploration of what it means to be a successful female leader. You’ll look at examples of inspiring women in leadership and discuss their specific approaches and attributes.
You’ll also learn why women tend to perform best as purpose-driven leaders.
The next step is to develop your own capacity to lead.
You’ll learn how to recognise and capitalise on your strengths, while identifying areas of untapped potential.
In the final week of the course, you’ll learn how building a strong network can support you and advance your career. You’ll discuss how to learn from others while building your own leadership legacy.
