This course provides a unique look at the Agile approach to software development. It explains how the iterative way of working, continuously learning as you progress, is the best way to deliver useful, valuable results.
Agile is widely adopted in digital teams, but it often fails to deliver on its promise due to poor implementation. Throughout this course, you’ll explore how it works in real life, not just as a mechanical process.
Explore the principles, practices and benefits of Agile
You’ll get an in-depth understanding of how Agile works day-to-day, and will learn its many benefits, including responsiveness to change, higher customer satisfaction and better quality outputs. You’ll discover how it focuses on practical value creation, underpinned by simple but powerful core values. You’ll also compare the Scrum Master and Product Owner roles and explore the distinctive ways they make a difference.
Identify and discuss some of the typical challenges of Agile
You’ll learn how Agile processes and techniques work in a variety of different situations, before assessing some of the typical challenges that are often found within teams, such as difficulties with stakeholder buy-in and organisational culture. You’ll explore
how these can be addressed by coming back to the fundamental purpose of Agile and developing an effective overall mindset.

VIOLATIONS
If you are found in violation of the Terms and Conditions or Honor Code, you may be subject to one or more of the following actions:

Receiving a zero or no credit for an assignment;

Having any certificate earned in the course withheld or revoked;

Being unenrolled from a course, learning program or degree program; or

Termination of your use of the App and/or Site.

Additional actions may be taken at the sole discretion of eLearnAfrica and eLearnAfrica course providers.
No refunds will be issued in the case of any corrective action for such violations.
Honor code violations will be determined at the sole discretion of eLearnAfrica, the Partners, or Members. You will be notified if a determination has been made that you have violated this honor code and you will be informed of the corresponding action to be taken as a result of the violation.
