During the first week of the course, you’ll gain a solid introduction to modern biotechnology to help you build a strong foundation of knowledge.
You’ll develop an understanding of biosafety related protocols, laws, regulations, and policies and how they are applicable for modern biotechnology.
Next, you’ll discover the different socioeconomic considerations in decision-making and how public awareness, information sharing, and confidential information all play a role in biosafety decisions.
Within this, you’ll explore key considerations in biosafety policies when governing the use of biotechnology tools and products.
Throughout the course, you’ll be guided by the specialists at Universiti Malaya.
