On this course, you’ll deep dive into resilient teaching and learn how to create adaptable learning experiences for your students that can work as effectively under fluctuating conditions and disruptions.


You’ll explore new ways of interaction between students, teachers, technology, and content and how these can be incorporated in a versatile teaching plan aiming to provide a dynamic learning outcome.

You’ll learn how to apply resilient design principles when creating your course. For teachers working from home during times of crisis such as the COVID-19 pandemic, dynamic teaching is key to keep students engaged and motivated.


Explore how tools and technology can improve teaching in fluctuating environments


Tools and technology are a key component of resilient teaching. This course aims to provide you with all the necessary information you need to understand how to use technology in education and how it can help you in times of disruption in teaching.


Explore resilient teaching examples and case studies


On this course, you’ll get the opportunity to explore examples of resilient teaching and draw inspiration from various remote teaching techniques.


This course is designed for higher education faculty, lecturers, and graduate students who might be required to reconsider their teaching methods due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Educators in a variety of instructional environments are also welcome.

  • Not engage in any activity that would dishonestly improve my results, or improve or hurt the results of others.

  • Not post answers to problems that are being used to assess student performance.

  • Abide by any and all requirements of the eLearnAfrica Participants as may regard the expectations of civil or academic behavior or of community standards.

VIOLATIONS

If you are found in violation of the Terms and Conditions or Honor Code, you may be subject to one or more of the following actions:

  • Receiving a zero or no credit for an assignment;

  • Having any certificate earned in the course withheld or revoked;

  • Being unenrolled from a course, learning program or degree program; or

  • Termination of your use of the App and/or Site.

  • Additional actions may be taken at the sole discretion of eLearnAfrica and eLearnAfrica course providers. 

No refunds will be issued in the case of any corrective action for such violations.

Honor code violations will be determined at the sole discretion of eLearnAfrica, the Partners, or Members. You will be notified if a determination has been made that you have violated this honor code and you will be informed of the corresponding action to be taken as a result of the violation.
